So, apparently I suck at keeping an online journal. No surprises there, I also suck at keeping paper ones, even though I would love to be the kind of person who keeps a journal, that's what all the cool characters do in the books I read as a kid did...

So a lady on the phone told me that I was a 'true book person' because I was very helpful about her books and things. I think that is a compliment...

Gabriel Tam never collected their books from my work. Tsk, tsk. Better come in if you want your money back, or are you too busy being a fictional character who is blinded from the truth by your fear of disturbing the status quo? Your daughter needs you, you know. And your son. And they're both so hot, what kind of person are you to not help? Huh?

You don't deserve books from me anyway.

Just had a flashback to a random memory from first year uni. We watched a film called 'Chungking Express' in Cinema Studies. 'California Dreaming' is used a number of times throughout the film and for about two weeks you could pick the first year cinema studies students because we all had it stuck in our heads and would start singing it absentmindedly. A lot. Not a great song to get stuck in your head, let alone en masse. I nearly went crazy that fortnight. Good times.

Is it wrong that I have a girly crush on Mr. Bennet from Heroes?

hmmm
I just remembered all the Firefly dreams I used to have. Like, for the six months after I really got into it, which was, conveniently, when Serenity was released here in Oz. My boyfriend at the time had a theory that it was because I was mourning the loss of something great so my subconscious was creating new episodes for me to enjoy. Sometimes I was a new character (like the time I was Mal's lady-wife...) other times I embodied an existing character (most memorably Jayne. Yup. That was wierd) and sometimes I was just watching. They were all good dreams.

Good times.

Today I served a customer called Malcolm Reynolds.

Winner.

(Closely followed by Gabriel Tam, but that's slightly obscure)

It's over. Oh well. All good things must come to an end. On the plus side Peter Kemp called me 'delightful'. Cos he's a great barometer that one...

Ok, so it's totally nothing, like being nominated for a 'most popular' logie, but hey, still exciting. Plus, I've proven that I too can be good at something *gasp*

Well...either good at something or that I have friends who voted for me...but who? The ones I told to vote forgot to do so...interesting.

PLUS, I did 10 laps today. New PB.

See, I knew things were gonna get better! Hurrah! Upbeat journal!

Wow, not really using this journal properly. I hate people moping but I'll just say that things have gone from bad to worse which is probably why I've been not using this thing - nothing good to say. But hey, it's all gonna get better from now on, so...Hurrah! Journal me up!
